Evers & Sons wins Texas compressor station expansion, adding six units
Evers & Sons has been awarded a compressor station expansion project in Texas that will add six new compressor units to an existing facility.
The project will expand the site from three operating compressors to a total of nine units, increasing compression capacity to support higher system throughput. Work will be carried out in two phases.
Phase 1 includes civil construction, fabrication and installation of compressors 4 and 5. Mobilization began this week, with completion expected in approximately eight weeks and demobilization anticipated in April.
Phase 2 is scheduled to begin in early June and will include installation of compressors 6 through 9.
The company said the expansion is designed to strengthen regional natural gas infrastructure and increase compression capabilities at the site. Evers & Sons will self-perform key elements of the work, including fabrication and field construction.
