Audubon awarded engineering contract for West Texas gas plant
Audubon announced that it has entered into an agreement with a major US onshore oil and gas operator in support of large central delivery plant (CDP) engineering in West Texas.
The CDP will be sized to handle 150 MMft3d of gas through three trains, with a redundant swing compression of 25 MMft3d and a surge capacity of 165 MMft3d. The facility will also accommodate a crude stabilization of 35,000 bpd with a redundant swing stabilization of 15,000 bpd and a surge capacity of 50,000 bpd.
Audubon’s scope of work for the facility includes balance-of-plant detailed engineering and design, project management, procurement, and vendor equipment management.
“We look forward to supplying the engineering and development work required to boost the operator’s energy delivery from the Permian Basin,” said Ryan Hanemann, president of Audubon Engineering Company LP. “The safe and responsible development of unconventional reserves strengthens this company’s standing as a major energy provider in the Lone Star State,” he added.
The project represents significant development for the oil and gas operator in the region, and it furthers Audubon’s position as a leading provider of integrated engineering, construction, fabrication, and technical services for the energy industry.
