bp's head of liquefied natural gas LNG trading, Jonty Shepard, will be leaving the company at the end of the year.
Shepard said in a LinkedIn post that his departure after 17 years was announced internally on Tuesday. It was unclear who will succeed him.
London-based bp is one of the world's biggest traders of LNG, which has become a key fuel in recent decades.
A bp spokesperson did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
