Turkey may work with foreign firms to develop gas field
10/23/2020
Turkish Energy Minister Fatih Donmez announced that Turkey will operate the gas field which it recently discovered in the Black Sea on its own, but it may cooperate with foreign firms in terms of detailed work and equipment.
His comments, at an interview with broadcaster A Para, came after President Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday Turkey had raised the estimated reserves of the field to 405 billion cubic meters after finding an additional 85 bcm.
