Yamal LNG to ship up to 75 cargoes in 2018

MOSCOW (Reuters) — Novatek, Russia’s top private gas producer, plans to ship 14 LNG cargoes by April and a total of up to 75 cargoes next year from its newly launched Yamal LNG project, a Novatek official said on Tuesday.
Separately, Novatek Chief Executive Leonid Mikhelson said on Tuesday that the company’s unit, Arcticgas, plans to start oil production by the end of 2018. Oil output was expected to reach around 1 MMtpy a few months after launch.
