Petronas and S-Oil sign LNG supply agreement

Malaysian Petronas has inked a 15-yr contract with Korea's S-Oil Corp. for supply of LNG to S-Oil Corp.'s new plant operations and as feedstock for hydrogen production.
Under the long-term agreement, Petronas subsidiary Malaysia LNG will deliver up to 700 Mtpy of LNG to S-Oil, beginning 2018.
Petronas recently signed a 10-yr LNG supply contract with Hokkaido Electric Power, a Japanese utility company. Under that deal, Malaysia LNG will deliver up to 130 metric Mtpy of LNG.
Malaysia LNG operates the Petronas LNG complex in Bintulu, Sarawak. The nine-train terminal has an LNG production capacity of 30 matrix MMtpy.
