Gazprom to finish 1st line of Turkish Stream in March 2018
ABOARD THE PIONEERING SPIRIT SHIP, Russia (Reuters) — The first line of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline should be ready in March 2018 and the second line in 2019, Gazprom Chief Executive Alexei Miller told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday.

The first line of Turkish Stream should supply gas to Turkey solely, while the second aims to bring Russian gas via the Black Sea to southern and southeast Europe.
"I am here to take part in the start of work on the deep-sea part of the Turkish Stream pipeline," Putin told Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan by phone from the Pioneering Spirit pipeline-laying ship in the Black Sea.
Putin added that Turkey and Russia needed to agree on Turkish Stream's entry point.
