Waga Energy to deploy RNG technology in Quebec Waga Energy has been enlisted by the Mauricie Residual Materials Management Board to deploy its landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas (RNG) technology at the Saint-Étienne-des-Grès landfill in Quebec, Canada. The green gas produced will be purchased by gas distributor Énergir for injection into its gas grid onsite. The landfill gas-to-RNG project, which will run for at least 20 yr, will be the first in Canada to use the WAGABOX technology, which was developed to recover landfill gas as biomethane.
