LaBella Associates acquires Process Pipeline Services, enhancing natural gas capabilities
LaBella Associates, an international architecture, engineering, environmental and planning firm, has acquired Process Pipeline Services Inc. (PPS), a provider of engineering, design and consultation services focused on the natural gas industry.
With offices in Massachusetts (U.S.) and New Hampshire (U.S.), the addition of PPS expands LaBella’s presence in the Northeast and will help the firm meet the burgeoning demand for planning, engineering, designing, permitting and project execution in the natural gas utility market. More specifically, PPS’s core services support the transmission, distribution, metering, pressure regulation, code compliance, project engineering, CAD design, instrumentation and system analysis needs of local distribution companies throughout the New England area. The company also specializes in horizontal directional drilling design for utilities like telecommunications, water, sanitary, gas, fiber optics and electric.
“We are thrilled to welcome the deeply experienced and highly consultative PPS team to LaBella,” said Jeff Roloson, President, LaBella Associates. “Known for their unmatched understanding of the complexities of the natural gas utility market, the team has also established a reputation of client excellence, with an impressive track record of meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.”
Established in 2008 by founder and President Mark Wood, PPS’s senior members collectively offer more than 100 years of experience. Recent projects include work on pipelines, meter and regulator stations, and compressed natural gas (CNG) design.
