BCCK boosts propane recovery at cryogenic gas processing facility
BCCK, a leader in engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction services, has applied patent-pending technology, G2R-Flex, to provide enhanced propane recovery for a premier midstream group in Ohio’s Marcellus-Utica Basin.
Utilizing a skidded BCCK patent-pending design, G2R-Flex improved current 200 MMsft3d GSP facilities propane recoveries to greater than 99% in ethane rejection and can also be applied to improve performance in ethane recovery.
Greg Hall, executive vice president, BCCK, said, “With increased propane prices, BCCK is continually working to improve overall project economics for our customers. Our latest design, G2R-Flex, will further optimize recoveries to exceed customer expectations for NGL extraction.”
G2R-Flex is available to increase recoveries at many of the existing gas subcooled process cryogenic gas processing facilities. This NGL extraction process assures maximum profitability through higher efficiencies and greater recoveries.
Hall added, “There are hundreds of cryo plants battling poor performance related to NGL recovery. BCCK has used its vast experience with cryogenic gas processing and NGL extraction to develop this simple, efficient, and effective modification for our customer.”
BCCK offered complete turnkey capabilities on this project through full EPC services (detailed planning and design, custom fabrication and field installation), to increase propane recoveries for the local market.
