Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking 330 active gas processing/LNG projects around the world. As shown in the world map, the Asia-Pacific region is the leader in active gas processing/LNG projects, accounting for more than 30% of active projects market share globally. The region continues to focus on increasing natural gas infrastructure to decarbonize their economies and provide feedstock for industrial use and power generation. The Asia-Pacific region is followed by the U.S. which continues to buildout its domestic LNG liquefaction capacity.
