CAI ENVEA Group now manufacturing, servicing field-proven photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) technology in U.S.
CAI ENVEA Group is now manufacturing, supplying and servicing the PAS Sense series of analyzers in California, USA, which were previously manufactured by LumaSense as INNOVA.
The new PAS Sense analyzers are highly accurate, reliable and stable quantitative gas monitoring systems designed to help protect both the environment and plant personnel, particularly in the oil and gas industry, where reliable parts-per-trillion (PPT) is critical.
Gas selectivity is achieved through the use of optical filters that provide both a means of detecting the gas of interest and compensating for interfering gases and water. The measurement system, based on the photoacoustic infrared detection method, is capable of measuring almost any gas that absorbs infrared light.
Engineered for harsh environments, the PAS Sense series utilizes > 30 yrs of field-proven stability and sensitivity to upstream, midstream and downstream operations. It’s the reliable choice for oil and gas safety and reporting.

The analyzers require a maximum of only two simple calibrations per year. Accuracy is high as the systems compensate for temperature and pressure fluctuations, water vapor interference, and interference from other known gases.
As the analyzer operates immediately when switched on, there is no warm-up time which reduces delays. Both bench-top and rack-mounted PAS configurations are available for use in different locations.
Salim Hiouel ,Global Product Line Manager for CAI ENVEA Group said: “Field-proven for over 30 years, the PAS Sense series is the gold standard in photoacoustic spectroscopy in the USA for the oil and gas industry where it has become the reliable choice of analyzer. Customers can expect to receive the same high-quality products and service, manufactured and delivered by the leaders in environmental monitoring. It’s still the same trusted technology, with the same exceptional performance. We are proud to support the legacy of LumaSense while injecting fresh energy into the range, backed by an experienced USA-based team.”
In addition to the product manufacture and supply, CAI ENVEA Group also carries out maintenance, service and support, including the supply of spare parts, from a single facility in California.
