As part of the EU-funded HYDREAMS project, Swiss Steel Group develops solutions to replace natural gas in thermal processes with clean H2 – without compromising quality, safety, or efficiency, the company announced.
Swiss Steel Group is testing different furnace and burner systems, analyzing material properties, and creating practical concepts. The first results are promising: In pilot trials with 13 steel grades, we observed no negative impact on structure or composition.
Now Swiss Steel Group is taking the next step – with industrial demonstrators.
