Gulf Energy Information Opens Nominations for 2025 Excellence Awards
Gulf Energy Information is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards, the premier international honors recognizing outstanding innovation, leadership, and achievement across the global energy sector.
This prestigious annual program celebrates the individuals, companies, and technologies driving the energy industry forward—from groundbreaking advances in exploration and production to transformative midstream projects and cutting-edge downstream technologies.
“The Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards represent one of the highest honors in our industry,” said Lee Nichols, Vice President of Content, Gulf Energy Information. “To be named a finalist is not only a recognition of achievement, but a mark of prestige that reflects true leadership and innovation across the energy value chain.”
All finalists will be celebrated, and the winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner on October 16, 2025, in Houston, Texas—an unforgettable evening of recognition, connection, and celebration among the industry's elite.
The awards feature categories across five pillars:
- Technology Awards – Highlighting advancements in areas such as refining, digital transformation, drilling, coatings, modeling, and more.
- Corporate Awards – Honoring top-performing operators, licensors, and key service providers.
- People Awards – Recognizing rising stars, lifetime achievers, and industry leadership.
- Project Awards – Honoring the most transformative projects across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, including breakthroughs in CCUS and hydrogen.
- HSE Awards – Celebrating excellence in health, safety, and environmental contributions.
