11/20/2024
PetroVietnam Gas has signed a contract to supply LNG to PetroVietnam Power to test run the country's first LNG-fired power plants.
The plants, Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 in the southern province of Dong Nai, are scheduled to start commercial operations from April and July next year, respectively.
PetroVietnam Gas was seeking 2,500,000 million British thermal units (MMBtu) of LNG to be delivered to the Thi Vai terminal between Dec. 20 and Jan. 5, two industry sources said earlier this month.
