12/13/2023
Freeport LNG's pretreatment facility in Texas (U.S.), immediately reduced production rates due to issues with the upstream gas feed to the facility. According to reports filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, venting incidents were documented from Train 1, Train 2, and Train 3 to the pretreatment flare.
Plant operators, however, managed to successfully restore normal running conditions for all three trains. The information was disclosed in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, shedding light on the operational challenges faced by Freeport LNG and the prompt actions taken by plant operators to address and rectify the situation.
