First LNG cargo from Australia's Prelude delivered to S Korea's KOGAS

The first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo to be loaded from Royal Dutch Shell’s Prelude project in Australia has been delivered to Korea Gas Corp, according to a KOGAS spokesman and shiptracking data from Refinitiv.

The 70,000 ton-cargo was purchased on a spot basis by KOGAS and delivered on June 27, the spokesman told Reuters.
The cargo on-board the tanker Valencia Knutsen was discharged at KOGAS’ Tongyeong LNG terminal after being loaded from Prelude facility on June 11, shiptracking data showed. (Reporting by Jessica Jaganathan in SINGAPORE and Jane Chung in SEOUL; Editing by Tom Hogue)
