MILAN, (Reuters) - Italian gas company Snam has ongoing discussions in China over possible business opportunities in the country, the group’s Chief Executive said.
“China is a very attractive growth market for natural gas,” Marco Alvera said in an analyst conference on 2018 results.
Last year Snam signed Memorandums of Understanding with China’s State Grid International Development and Beijing Gas over cooperation in the country, especially in the field of carbon emission reduction and gas storage.
State Grid is a shareholder of Snam.
