6/26/2018
Paris - GTT has received an order notification from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) to equip a new Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) with its Mark III Flex membrane containment system. Offering a capacity of 180,000 m3, this unit will be built in South Korea on behalf of ship-owner Gaslog. Its delivery is scheduled for Q3 2020.
"We are very pleased with this order, which celebrates the quality of our relationship with these major players of the shipping industry," Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT said. "The choice, once again, of our Mark III Flex technology shows that this system perfectly matches the current needs of the market."
