KBR provided engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services on the 650-MW, combined-cycle, natural-gas-fueled generating station. Upon completion of this last domestic EPC power project, as previously announced, KBR will exit the fixed price EPC power business, a non-strategic business for KBR.
"We are pleased to have safely and successfully delivered this project on schedule, demonstrating our expertise in executing large-scale, complex projects," said Farhan Mujib, KBR President of Engineering and Construction (E&C) Americas. "The completion of this final domestic EPC power project achieves another milestone in KBR's successful implementation of our corporate strategy."
