Putin says possible for Nord Stream 2 to supply Hungary with gas

BUDAPEST (Reuters) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that it was "technologically" possible for Hungary to receive natural gas from yet-to-be built Nord Stream 2 gas project.

He added that Russia could continue gas transit via Ukraine if it would be "feasible."
Putin also said that Moscow could fully finance expansion of Paks nuclear power plant under certain conditions.
Hungary plans to build two Russian VVER 1200 reactors for a total budget of $13.2 billion, of which 80% will be financed by Russia and 20% by Hungary.
