Japan's Hokkaido Gas buys LNG from Mitsui & Co.
10/3/2016
(Reuters) - Japanese city gas supplier, Hokkaido Gas Co., said it struck a basic agreement to buy two to three LNG cargoes per year from Mitsui & Co for 10 years starting from April 2019.
The cargoes would total between 130 Mtpy and 200 Mtpy, according to Hokkaido Gas.
Mitsui & Co can sell from its own portfolio contracts without specifying any particular projects for supplies, Hokkaido Gas said.
Hokkaido Gas will receive the gas at its Ishikari LNG terminal in northern Japan.
