Total to supply LNG from new US project to Indonesia’s Pertamina

PARIS -- Total has signed long-term sale and purchase agreements with Pertamina for the supply of LNG volumes over a period of 15 years beginning in 2020.

“These agreements allow the Group to further expand its longstanding cooperation with Pertamina and to enhance both companies’ LNG portfolios,” Laurent Vivier, president of Total’s gas division, said.

“Strengthening our presence in Asia, in particular through innovative relationships with new LNG buyers, such as Pertamina, is an important part of our strategy," he added.

Under the terms of the agreements, Total will purchase, from 2020, around 400,000 tpy of Pertamina’s contracted LNG volumes from Corpus Christi LNG, which is currently under construction in the US.

In parallel, Total will supply Pertamina with a volume of LNG that will grow over time from 400,000 tpy to 1 MMtpy.
