Willbros wins ethane export pipeline contract

Willbros Group, Inc. announced Wednesday that HSC Pipeline Partnership, LLC (a subsidiary of Enterprise Products Partners L.P.) has awarded it a contract to construct a 15.5 mile, 24-in. ethane pipeline from Enterprise's storage facility near Mont Belvieu in Chambers County, Texas, to Enterprise's Morgan's Point facility on Galveston Bay in Harris County, Texas.
The ethane export pipeline will be constructed in one segment and will have multiple drilled crossings, including the Houston Ship Channel.
The project begins in June 2015, and it is planned to be completed in November 2015.
